OEKO-TEX CERTIFICATION

An OEKO-TEX certification means that our fabrics and textile products have been independently tested and verified to be free from harmful levels of over 1,000 toxic chemicals and substances. It primarily guarantees the material is safe for human health and posts no significant threat to your skin or body.

Our Certification type is STANDARD 100. To receive this certification and label (including buttons, zippers and threads) are lab-tested against strict, global standardized limit values. The tests check for:

  • Carcinogenic azo colourants: dyes which have been linked to cancer risks

  • Heavy metals: Such as lead, mercury or nickel

  • Formaldehyde: Often used in wrinkle-free or crease resistant fabric treatments

  • Pesticides and herbicides: Which can remain in natural fibers, like cotton

  • PFAS (Per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances): Often used for water and/or stain proofing

  • Allergic substances: Compounds know to cause skin irritation or allergic reaction
