  • I was excited to show new work at the Ontario Society of Artists New Members Show at Base 31 Art Gallery in Picton, Ontario.

    Base 31 is a 75-acre former Second World War military air station, located in Picton, Ontario. It has been reimagined into a vibrant cultural and entertainment hub. The revitalized property features live music venues, art galleries, restaurants and historical exhibitions.

  • I was part of a three-artist show at The Studio Gallery at the RiverBrink Art Museum.

    Building on a successful first year, The Studio Gallery returned for a dynamic second season in 2026 with a new group of talented artists featured each month. Visitors can meet artists, learn about their processes and discover original artwork for purchase.

    Set in a welcoming cultural space, The Studio Gallery invites all ages to explore and connect. Each visit offers something fresh, creative, and uniquely Niagara.

  • I presented a selection of my art at the 2026 Pancakes and Booze Art Show Toronto.

    The Pancakes and Booze Art Show is a massive touring, underground art event that originated in Los Angeles in 2009. It breaks away from the gallery norms by featuring art exhibitions with live music, body painting and an all-you-can-eat pancake bar. The Toronto event will be held on July 17, 2026 at Revival, 783 College Street, Toronto from 7:00 p.m. to midnight.

  • Brought together by the Korean Artists Society of Canada, this years’ event features invited members of the Ontario Society of Artists.

    The 2026 Korea-Canada Invitational Ceramic Exhibition & Invitational Design Exhibition is a cross-cultural artist online showcase hosted in collaboration with the Seoul Cyber University and the Korean Artists Society of Canada. This virtual gallery, which runs from July 1 to December 31, 2026, highlights contemporary craft, visual innovation, and modern creative expressions from both nations.

    The online showcase features two main sections: a national ceramic collection bridging traditional clay methods with contemporary sculptural forms, and a design exhibition spotlighting cross-cultural modern creative expressions.

    This juried event showcases some of Niagara-on-the-Lake’s most talented artists and artisans, who open their studio doors to the general public for the weekend.

  • I was excited to have a solo show at during the month of June.

  • I was excited that my painting titled EMBRACE LIFE’S DIVERSITY won Honourable Mention at the Neilson Park Creative Centre (NPCC) Celebrates Pride juried exhibition - “Be Creative, Be You, Be All In”.

    A quote about my piece by Juror and Artist Steve Rose. “Beautifully done mixed media artwork. Very personal in the overall design and remarkably universal in its statement. Impressive and relatable.”

  • I was excited to be asked to teach a series of courses for the absolute art beginner. The art courses were part of the ArtOut Program at the Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. The course began on March 7 with a lecture on the History and Importance of Queer Art. The next three courses were on Sketching, Acrylic Painting and Mixed Media Art.

  • The 2026 Artists’ Choice Juried Online Exhibition - Artists were invited to show their best work in this open theme juried exhibition. By embracing any subject or medium, this showcase highlighted the diverse talents and unique perspectives of the participating artists.

  • I was excited to have two of my pieces juried into Art Fair Hamilton.

    Art Fair Hamilton features a juried exhibition of artists who have been invited to embrace the unknown as a space of transformation, resilience, and endless possibility.   • I was excited to have an art booth at the juried NOTL Arts Collective Labour Day Art Fair at 222 Davy Street in Niagara-on-the-Lake (just off Queen Street in the St. Vincent de Paul Parish Hall).

    The Art Fair showcases art by some of Niagara’s most talented artists and artisans.

  • I was excited to have my painting titled PATRIOT LOVE juried into the exhibition, titled ‘The Unquiet North’ at the Donna Child Fine Art Gallery in Toronto.

    This was the 151st annual exhibit of the Ontario Society of Artists (OSA) with the purpose of promoting the best art that Canada has to offer.

  • I was excited that my painting titled HARMONY IN DIVERSITY won First Prize in the Adult Category at the Neilson Park Creative Centre (NPCC) Celebrates Pride juried exhibition - “Be Creative, Be You, Be All In”.

    A quote about my piece by Juror, Kat Honey. “At first, this piece might seem to reinforce social structure and homogeneity - but upon closer inspection, it reveals both equality and individuality - subtle and marked - against a veiled backdrop of the myriad issues and ideas that must be grappled with to create a just and vibrant society.”
